Hi, I'm Grecia! I'm a 2nd-year PhD student in the Computer Science department at UC Santa Barbara. My research interests include both design and near-term implementations of quantum algorithms and quantum machine learning. Since joining the group, I have been working on QSPE-based hybrid metrology schemes for Hamiltonian learning in neutral-atom systems and on other mathematical methods for QSP implementations. I am also starting explorations on the use of quantum generative models for open-system dynamics such as two-level systems in solid-state qubits.
I was an undergraduate in Physics and EECS at MIT. In my free time, I enjoy exploring California and the outdoors through running, hiking, and climbing.
