We are the Quantum CoDesign Lab at UCSB!

Inspired by the spirit of codesign, we work to achieve fault-tolerant realizations of quantum algorithms on today’s noisy quantum hardware.

Departing from traditional gate-based approaches, we expand the quantum computing paradigm by focusing on the analog setting native to experimental hardware.

Our research leverages analytical tools from physics, novel machine learning techniques, and powerful quantum algorithms such as Quantum Signal Processing (QSP) to make improvements in quantum control, quantum metrology, and quantum error correction.

More details on current projects can be found on the Research page.
