I am a PhD student in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara, with a Bachelors in Physics from UC Berkeley in 2022 and postbaccalaureate research at MIT’s RLE. My scientific interests generally lie in simulation, quantum control and optimization, with the broader goal of developing more scalable approaches to quantum computing using co-design and machine learning. In my current work, I utilize reinforcement learning techniques to design hardware-tailored control strategies for efficient realizations of multiqubit entangling gates on device.
